continues the amazing story of Katniss Everdeen in the phenomenal Hunger
Games trilogy.Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual
Hunger Games with fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark. But it was a
victory won by defiance of the Capitol and their harsh rules. Katniss
and Peeta should be happy. After all, they have just won for themselves
and their families a life of safety and plenty. But there are rumors of
rebellion among the subjects, and Katniss and Peeta, to their horror,
are the faces of that rebellion. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants
revenge. From Goodreads
I read the first book of this series in February and enjoyed it. I knew I wanted to read the last two as well and bought them quite a while ago, but I just never got around to it. Living in a very isolated place, I never saw the film Hunger Games. This summer I flew to Canada and one of the films I could choose to watch was Hunger Games. Of course, after watching the film I was ready for the next two books.
I enjoyed this book very much. The book did not go at all as I expected and took an interesting turn of events. I always like when a book surprises me and this did.
