'Hazel - the danger, the bad thing. It hasn't gone away. It's here - all round us... We've got to go away before it's too late.'
Fiver
could sense danger. Something terrible was going to happen to the
warren - he felt sure of it. So did his brother Hazel, for Fiver's sixth
sense was never wrong. They had to leave the warren, and they had to
persuade the other rabbits to join them. And so a small band of rabbits
began a long and perilous journey. Not one of them could have imagined
the terrors and dangers that were in store for them in this dramatic and
totally gripping story that has become a classic and an international
bestseller. From Goodreads.
My husband has wanted me to read this book forever and I finally did it. It is a very good book. Hazel and Fiver are two very different but strong characters and they need each other for this adventure. Definitely a book I can recommend. I might have to read Tales from Watership Down as well.
