I wanted to read this as I have read the previous Cindy Eller books. But as her two series merge with this book, I needed to read the Goldie Locke series first. I have read them and they were all okay but it annoys me that the author did this.
This book brings together the two stories very well. Everybody has to fight for the survival of the magical community against The mortal Council of Magic who has been keeping a lot of magic to them self.
Goldie is continuing her complicated life and Cindy is trying to prove herself a worthy Seraphine of Faerie.

I enjoyed this book. It is a nice Christmas romance with a happy ending. I am sure I will read more by Sarah Morgan in the future.

Still a cosy fun read, nothing ever stays good forever so there is some betrayal in this one. I am also pleased that the page count has risen even if it is just with a few pages.

This is the fourth book in the Cindy Eller series. I still like the series and find it both cosy and humorous. But it annoys me that the author is writing shorter and shorter books. The first book in the series was 315 pages, the third was 208 and now we are down to 184 pages in this book. I hope this doesn't continue.

There is no mystery to these books. The question is where is her boyfriend? I think most readers will know quite early in the book. It is still an okay read.

I like books by Trisha Ashley, they are cosy and warm books. This is not one of my favourite but it is okay and I have already ordered another of her books that will be released in November. I think I might have to look for her in my library as not all her of books are available as ebooks.

Debora Geary is my favourite author at the moment. What is not to like. The book is about witches, it has romance, humour and a bit of sadness in it. Life is not perfect, neither are we but that doesn't mean life is not good.

This was a brilliant ending to the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series and I am really pleased  that the story continues in The Heroes of Olympus series. If you like fantasy and mythology, this is a worthy series to read.

The last book in the trilogy. It actually starts just after the sixth chapter of book one. In this book we follow Gerry, a witch with a secret (that I won't reveal). She is unconscious for a while but we still get a lot of her past in that time. This last book does a good job of binding the three books together and finishing the story. I think the author is going to write more books set in this world and I would like to read them.

This is the second book in the Bend-Bite-Shift Trilogy and I found it slightly better than the first. The story is still about Devan but it is from Jill's point of view and it also tells the story about how Jill got turned into a vampire.

A lot of people rave about Life of Pi, unfortunately I don't think it was as good as that. It might have been a mistake on my part to read this book only a few weeks after seeing the film. I think the film was quite true to the book so I was reading something I already knew which made me feel the book was a bit drawn out..
I usually try to read a book before seeing the film.

I saw this film just over a year ago and thought I would read (listen to) the book. As with a lot of other books that have been turned into film, this book was nothing like the film.
The film is about a small group of elderly people coming to the Marigold Hotel for their retirement. In the book the hotel is full and it is just as much about their families and what brings them out to India. I enjoyed both the book and the film.

This was interesting, the existence of a parallel universe just on the other side of a portal. Just walk through from our side to the other but to get back you need a key, the ring. This story had potential but didn't quite live up to it. This book was free but I am not hurrying out to buy the next book.

I am really enjoying this Steampunk series by Shelley Adina. Claire is a strong heroine but she still needs all the help she can get from both old and new friends. I really like the Mopsies - read the book to find out who they are :-)
